Dark Mode

Dark mode is controlled by the Theme base you select, not a separate toggle.

Aurora doesn’t have an independent “Dark Mode” switch. Dark mode is one of the two base options under Aurora → Settings → Appearance → Theme, alongside the 10 accent colors:

  • Black & Grey — the dark base.
  • White — the light base.

Choosing Black & Grey applies dark styling across the whole admin — including native WordPress screens Aurora frames rather than rebuilds, like Site Health, Export/Erase Personal Data, and the Theme/Plugin File Editor.
